Rainbow’s Maid Café is a Japanese-inspired cafe for all ages hosted by adorable maids that are dedicated to entertaining and engaging with guests. We are based in Ohio, and do events at various conventions.
Our Story
Rainbow’s Maid Café was created in September of 2015 by Mimi Thompson (Cleveland, OH) and has been hosting events ever since. The original Maid Lineup consisted of Yui, Nina, Mimi, Samantha, Gabby and Megan.
After Our first event at Nyancon 2015, we started accepting maids by application, opening ourselves up to the greater anime community. Before we were hosted Nyancon for the second year, three new maids joined our team: Theresa, Mai and Ellie!
We also got our first butler, Levi!
We've grown a lot since our beginnings. We now have over 15 members that span across Ohio!
Our café stands out from other maid cafés in the way that we interact with our guests and set up our café atmosphere. The bright and lighthearted methods we use to communicate and relate to our guests allows them to feel cheery and at ease when attending the café. We make an effort to create an environment that is inspired by Japanese maid cafés but also adapts to the convention setting and tries to match the energy of our guests, tailoring the experience to them personally.
